Rob Snyder, Jennifer Hansen, Terri Burns
enlightened solutions founders
Enlightened Solutions has been founded by Jennifer Hansen, Robert Snyder, and Terri Burns, whom have a strong passion for helping those struggling with substance abuse disorders. Having a combined 45+ years of experience in their personal recovery, they have assisted in the restoration of countless lives helping them break free from the chains of addiction.
Jennifer Hansen went from living on the street with a $300-a-day heroin habit to becoming a role model and advocate for those struggling with the substance abuse issues. Through her non-profit organization, The Hansen Foundation, she has founded halfway houses and sober living facilities for men and women. Jennifer is also a certified yoga instructor and leads a holistic way of life through organic eating, chiropractic care, acupuncture and herbal remedies. Her own experiences taught her that recovery does not end after short-term rehabilitation, and that more resources are necessary in order to ensure longterm stability and growth. The Hansen Foundation was the beginning, and through Enlightened Solutions Jennifer seeks to continue filling this void and reaching out to addicts in need.
Robert Snyder has been working in the field of substance abuse for ten years. He has experience in residential and outpatient settings, and has helped a wide variety of people battle addiction, including both adults and adolescents. He received his Master’s degree, LCADC and CCS in 2013. He teaches assessment skills for addiction studies as an adjunct professor at Atlantic Cape Community College. As a person in longterm recovery, Robert is active in his community and has a passion for helping others attain positive change in their lives.
Terri Burns is a person in long-term recovery, and has been working in the field of addiction since 1999. She is committed to helping those who suffer from addiction regain control of their lives, and has worked with adults, adolescents, and families who have been touched by this disease. Terri is a dedicated volunteer at the Atlantic County Justice Facility, and has experience in residential treatment facilities. Terri is the Director of Operations for a number of sober living homes. Her focus is on assisting residents with family difficulties and legal matters, and on providing individual support to residents, so that they may fulfill their short- and long-term goals.
